Effective Date: October 28, 2026
1. Introduction
At Vital Nursing Care, we understand that care requirements, personal circumstances, and schedules can change.
We aim to provide clear information regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and refund requests associated with services arranged through our website.
This policy explains how general care inquiries are handled and how cancellation or refund questions relating to paid services may be addressed.
2. General Care Inquiries
Submitting an inquiry through the Vital Nursing Care website does not, by itself, constitute a confirmed booking or a paid service agreement.
Visitors may contact us to explore nursing and caregiving options without automatically entering into a financial commitment.
If you no longer wish to proceed with an inquiry, you may contact us and request that the inquiry be closed.
Closing an inquiry does not automatically require payment of a cancellation fee.
3. Confirmed Care Arrangements
Where an individual or family enters into a confirmed care arrangement with an independent nurse, caregiver, or service provider, cancellation and rescheduling conditions may be governed by that professional’s separate service agreement.
Before confirming services, families should review any applicable requirements relating to advance notice, scheduling changes, minimum service periods, deposits, and cancellation charges.
Vital Nursing Care encourages clear communication between families and care professionals whenever circumstances change.
4. Payments Made Directly to Care Professionals
Payments made directly to independent nurses, caregivers, or third-party care providers are generally subject to the applicable agreement between the parties.
Requests concerning refunds, cancellations, billing disputes, or adjustments to those payments should ordinarily be directed to the professional or provider who received the payment.
Vital Nursing Care may assist with communication when appropriate, but such assistance does not automatically make Vital Nursing Care the party responsible for the underlying payment or refund.
Applicable consumer rights and legal protections remain in effect.
5. Payments Made to Vital Nursing Care
If Vital Nursing Care charges a separate fee for a referral, coordination service, or another paid offering, the applicable price, payment terms, cancellation requirements, and refund conditions will be disclosed before payment is accepted.
Any refund request involving a payment made directly to Vital Nursing Care will be reviewed according to the agreed terms, the circumstances of the transaction, and applicable law.
This policy does not establish a universal nonrefundable-fee rule.
Any nonrefundable charges must be clearly disclosed before payment and must comply with applicable law.
6. Rescheduling Care Services
Families who need to change a scheduled service should notify the relevant care professional or provider as soon as reasonably possible.
Rescheduling requests are subject to professional availability and the terms of the applicable care arrangement.
A requested change does not guarantee that the same professional or an alternative time will be available.
7. Unavailable or Unfulfilled Services
If an agreed service cannot be provided, the parties should review the applicable agreement to determine whether rescheduling, an alternative arrangement, or a refund is appropriate.
Where Vital Nursing Care has directly accepted payment for a service it does not provide, any refund obligation will be determined by the agreed terms and applicable consumer protection laws.
Nothing in this policy removes a consumer’s legal right to seek a refund or other remedy where required by law.
8. Billing Questions and Disputes
If you believe a payment was processed incorrectly or you have questions regarding a charge made directly by Vital Nursing Care, please contact us with the relevant transaction details.
We will review the concern and provide information about the appropriate next steps.
For payments processed by independent care professionals or third-party providers, please contact the party responsible for the transaction.
9. Emergency Changes in Care Needs
We understand that unexpected hospitalizations, medical developments, and family emergencies may affect care arrangements.
If your circumstances change unexpectedly, contact the relevant care professional or service provider promptly.
Any cancellation charges, rescheduling options, or refunds will depend on the applicable agreement and legal requirements.
10. Changes to This Policy
Vital Nursing Care may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy to reflect changes in its services, payment practices, or applicable laws.
Revised information will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights arising under an existing agreement or applicable law.
